Our Volunteer Services staff interviews all applicants who
complete the Volunteer Application available on this website and
at the Perley Rideau. Knowing the interests, skills, and
availability of each applicant is essential to match a volunteer
to a position or task. All listed references are contacted.
After the interview volunteers are required to submit a recent Police Record Check,
complete a Tuberculosis Screening Assessment, and attend a
3-hour orientation session.
