The 450-bed Perley and Rideau Veterans’ Health Centre is a leading regional resource providing for the needs of seniors and veterans and those requiring dementia care. We are currently seeking a Casual:

REGISTERED DIETITIAN

Reporting to the Manager of Support Services, you will be responsible in providing therapeutic nutrition services. As a member of the multi-disciplinary team you will assess, develop and monitor individual treatment plans as well as provide educational support to Residents and Families.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, effective communication and be able to work independently.


Qualifications:
- registration with the College of Dietitians of Ontario
- a working knowledge of the Ontario Ministry of Health Long Term Care standards

Preferred Qualifications:
- working knowledge of MDS/RAI electronic charting and Computrition Menu Management System will be considered an asset
