COORDINATOR, EDUCATION AND BEST PRACTICE

Reporting to the Manager of Nursing Practice, in this newly created permanent full time position (4-5 days/week), you will be responsible to take a leadership role in education and best practice projects for all programs at P.R.V.H.C.

You are a Registered Nurse or other regulated health professional that is responsible for the planning, developing and delivering of theory and/or programs to meet the identified needs of all staff including certification in specialized skills.

Candidates ensure evaluation of work performance with input from other managers and all team members and participate in an on-call roster of management staff.

Candidates will possess a Bachelor Degree in Nursing Sciences or a University degree as a Registered Health Professional, with a minimum of three (3) years experience in Long Term Care. Candidates with a combination of experience and education will also be considered.

Knowledge of project management practices. Knowledge of the MDS/RAI system for long term care, bilingualism and a certificate in Adult Education would be assets.
