Rates

Within the Perley and Rideau Veterans' Health Centre 250 beds are designated as Veteran Priority Access Beds and 200 beds are for community residents. The Ministry of Health and Long Term Care determines the room rates for community residents, and Veterans Affairs Canada sets the rates for veterans.

Rates as of July 01, 2010

Long-term stay
Community residents: $1,619.08 per month to $2,166.58 per month
Veterans: $874.83 per month as of October 01, 2009

Short-stay:

Respite Care: $34.63 per day

Ottawa Residence (9 general respite beds)

            Guest House (12 dementia respite beds)

   Convalescent Care (provincially funded):

Ottawa residence (22 convalescent beds)

Day Program

Client Fee $22.50 per day
Transportation $12.50 per day
